Things I hate today...

- People who don't return phone calls. "I'm in the office, but away from my desk. Leave a message and I'll get back to you right away." Yeah right.
- Not being an official University employee (U of C postdocs are on private contracts with their advisers, although we get some University privileges like email and library access). This makes it extremely difficult to get HR information.
- Having to trawl through mountains of useless information to find what you need - how can a University web site be SO unhelpful?
- This town, everyone who I will randomly meet in the street today, bureaucrats in general.
