One for my Dad

I'm not sure I really have anything to write about tonight, but my beloved Dad has been on the phone telling me how he looks in vain every day for a new post. So Dad, this one's for you :D

This week can best be described as snowy. It started on Monday and didn't let up until late Wednesday. The car is buried again (at least a foot, and probably ice rather than just powder), and I'm not looking forward to digging it out tomorrow. Unfortunately there's only so long you can make do with take away meals and catching the bus, and tomorrow I really need to drive. *groan* Will this snow ever end?

Other highlights of the week include over-consumption of bagels (due to not driving to the supermarket to buy food), although given that bagels in Australia are pretty average, I can justify it by telling myself I'm stocking up for later. There have also been several coffee trips. Mostly Stella's, but today I had coffee with a friend in the Uris library cafe. I've never been there before - turns out it has a great view over the Cornell campus.

And tomorrow night I'm off to see Jon Stewart at Cornell. Should be fun.
