I slept in today (bliss) then spent most of the morning doing housework. Even though I slept in I still managed to be the first person using the washing machine - YAY! - I'm still not used to the idea of sharing with the rest of the apartment block.

After lunch I scraped the ice off the car and drove to the mall (how American am I?). However, I didn't stop by Aunty Anne's for a pretzel, so things haven't gone too far :). Made my first ever visit to an American pet shop. They had an amazing range of animals for sale, including a very hairy tarantula, several varieties of snakes, and baby iguanas. Plus the more mundane goldfish and budgies. I controlled myself and didn't buy anything, although there was a very cute baby budgie who tempted me quite a bit.....then I thought about cleaning up all the seeds on the floor.

My arm STILL hurts from snowboarding! I'm having this weekend off.
